KangTa will be having his first upcoming solo concert in China on July 24th after 5 years, having being released from the army earlier this year. He held a press conference at China’s Beijing stadium yesterday where he talked to the media about his concert and related issues.

KangTa said, “We always hope that the five of us would be able to come back together again. After Lee Jae Won who is currently in the army gets discharged, we plan for a reunion and carry out official promotions next year.”

JYJ, Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu will be teaming up with Kanye West and Timbaland for what may become a collaboration of epic proportions!

Hitmaking wonder Jae Chong recently posted an update blog on the online artist community alivenotdead.com, outlining his upcoming plans and collaborations for 2010. Although this post went public near the beginning of June, it’s been spreading like wildfire among Cassiopeians as of late for obvious reasons.

Decked out with countless music awards and a star-studded track record, Jae Chong is one of Asia’s revolutionaries of music. His professional musical career kicked off in Los Angeles’ underground hip hop scene back in the nineties, and has since migrated to the Asian music world. Jae first gained widespread fame as a member & producer of the immensely popular R&B group Solid (솔리드), selling over four million records in Korea in just four years – and to put that in context, TVXQ has sold around seven million records (Japan + Korea sales for all discography) since their 2003 debut seven years ago.

Chong has since worked with performers like BoA, Uhm Jung Hwa and the iconic ballad singer Shin Seung Hun as well as top-tier stars across Asia, including Taiwan’s Vanness Wu (F4), Coco Lee, Jolin Tsai, Machi, Andrew Chou and many more. So in short – this guy’s a pretty big deal, and his upcoming production with TVXQ, Kanye & Timbaland is going to be nothing short of big.

Been writing songs for a Korean group DBSK (or better known as TVXQ in Japan)…They’ve been the best selling group in Asia basically crushing everyone’s sales…They actually make up for 40% of all revenues made by Avex Japan…That’s HUGE!!! Too bad my old group SOLID sold 4 times more than them tho…hahaha! But of course…different generation…^^ Anyways, this is sort of “top secret” but I guess what better place to talk about “top secret” projects than a public blog like this one? haha…Basically, DBSK used belong to SM Entertainment in Korea…For those of you who don’t know what that is…It’s basically one of the biggest entertainment companies in Korea…Anyways, 3 of the 5 members recently defaulted and sued SM Entertainment for “slavery” contracts (I can explain about that…but that will take 10 pages…). So 3 of them are releasing a new album under a their own company…and me (aka “yours truly”) got involved…Basically, it’s a huge collaboration project featuring the 3 guys from DBSK and the biggest A listers in the US…as of now…being Kanye West and Timbaland…To make the long story short…we’re working on the album as I type…and will fly to Hawaii to record at Kanye’s house…and then possibly go to LA or Miami to record with Timbaland…This is by far THE biggest budget project EVER in Asia…PERIOD! And the reason for the secrecy besides the obvious media frenzy it will cause…is because SM Entertainment is PISSED OFF about them leaving…and I don’t wanna step on anyone’s toes…but as usual…Oh well…It is what it is…

If it really becomes, in Jae’s words, “by far THE biggest budget project EVER in Asia… PERIOD!”, it’s safe to say that this upcoming collab will be one of the most anticipated tracks of 2010. With summer just unraveling and JaeChunSuKanyeLand (or JaeChunSuTimbaWest?) heating things up, it’s time to crank up the AC – the next few months are going to be steaming!

YUNHO - GOONG MUSICAL

It was revealed on the 7th that TVXQ’s leader, U-Know Yunho will take on the main lead role of Prince Shin in the upcoming Goong musical scheduled for this September.

The musical is an adaptation of popular drama with the same name and will be Yunho’s second attempt at acting after his drama debut with Heading to the Ground.

The musical producer revealed the reasons for choosing Yunho, “We decided to choose Yunho because of his exceptional dancing, singing capabilities and mastery of the stage. All that has been demonstrated on stage through concerts. Added to his prince-like appearance, there’s no ideal person other than him for this role. We look forward to a charismatic showing by him for his musical debut.”

Others confirmed for the musical include Lee Chang Hee and Jung Dong Hwa, SNSD’s Sooyoung’s sister Choi Soo Jin and MILK’s member Seo Hyun Jin.

Group Eight will be producing the musical and it will start from September 8th at the Seoul National Museum’s theater.

Though TVXQ has stopped its group promotions for the time being, the boys are continuing on with their careers individually. Xiah Junsu, for one, will sing a song for the soundtrack of a Japanese drama.

One Japanese newspaper said on the 26th that Xiah Junsu’s solo single album will include a track titled Sadness’ Whereabouts, which will also be used as the main OST for a drama.

The drama is called Love Letter From Five Years Later, starring Mukai Osamu and Uchiyama Rina. The drama will begin airing on May 5th through mobile channel BeeTV.

Amidst the silence the five boys of TVXQ are in at the moment, one member has decided to step up to the stage again. Xiah Junsu will now be going solo in Japan with a self-written ballad track titled Intoxication.

On the 23rd, Japan’s official website of TVXQ announced that Xiah Junsu has recently finished shooting for his music video produced by MTV Japan. The MV will be broadcasted four times in total, starting from mid May until the end of the month.

According to the webpage, Intoxication is medium-tempoed ballad song that Xiah Junsu himself has written. The album is scheduled to drop at the end of May, officially launching his solo activities in Japan.

Yunho has plans to feature in the upcoming music video for upcoming R&B trio J. Rich.

Although Yunho has been part of TVXQ for six years now, Yunho has yet to appear in a music video of another singer. However, it’s been reported that Yunho is a close friend of J. Rich member Woojoo, which led him to lend a hand in the group’s debut.

J. Rich will be taking their first step into the music scene with their debut track Goodbye My Love starting with the MV teaser release next Monday on April 12. Not much is known about the MV yet, but it’s been confirmed that Yunho will be acting as a couple with Sugar’s Park Soojin playing his girlfriend.

It was revealed that Yoochun will star in BeeTV’s Loving You.

He will play the main character in the drama which was confirmed by Avex Japan’s vice president who also wrote on his Twitter that the drama will air in June. Yoochun plays a rich boy that falls in love with the female character, played by Oomasa Aya.

He has been cast in the upcoming drama Sungkyunkwan Scandal. Sungkyunkwan is a university that dates way back from the Joseon Dynasty and the school still exists to this day. The drama is a love story on the Sungkyunkwan campus.

He will play Lee Sun Joon, a character that has the brain, looks and money. He is a rich boy that falls in love with a girl that is cross dressing for some reason.

Yoochun said, “I had fun reading the synopsis. I want to meet Sun Joon very soon. I’m honored to play such an interesting character in my first project. I will work hard to greet the viewers with a good project and as a good character.”

DANA - MUSICAL LEAD

It’s been revealed that Korean band The Grace (Chun Sang Ji Hee) member Dana will be starring in the season 3 musical of the classic Dae Jang Geum.

Dana made her debut in 2001 as a singer and gained popularity by landing a role in 2001 sitcom Nonstop 3.

In 2005, she joined the all female 4 member band, CSJH The Grace with SM Entertainment and has been promoting in Japan and Taiwan.

She will lead the musical as Seo Jang Geum, the character that was modeled after Korea’s historical figure Jang Geum, the first royal physician in Korean history. She will alternate the leading role with singer Lisa with performances from May 1st to the 23rd.

On a related note, after a 2 year hiatus it is rumored that The Grace will be making their comeback onto the k-pop scene this year. One can only hope that it will come true.

TVXQ - BREAKS 31 YEAR RECORD

Last week, the boys released their 30th Japanese single Toki wo Tomete which quickly became #1 on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart moving 195,000 units. In conjunction with this they released their special remix album TVXQ NONSTOP – MIX VOL.2, which placed 3rd on the Oricon Album Chart moving 38,000 units. Because of this feat, this was for the first time in 15 years that a foreign artist held top 3 spots on both the Oricon Singles and Album chart for the same week. The last time this happened was 15 years ago (1995) when Mariah Carey’s Lover’s Christmas single was third and Merry Christmas album was first.

For a male foreigner, the last occurrence of this was more than 31 years ago (1978) when Billy Joel held the third place ranking for both his single and album The Stranger.

TVXQ’s single BREAK OUT!, released in January achieved first on the Oricon. In addition their BEST SELECTION 2010 album has been one of the top albums in Japan for 2010. They continue to do big things in Japan, and their influence is slowly spreading beyond the Pacific Rim.

TVXQ/DBSK’s Changmin is in a tux holding a beautiful bride, but luckily this is only a still from his upcoming drama Paradise Meadow whose airing date is still unknown.

In the photo is Changmin and actress Lee Yeon Hee looking happy as they smile broadly at the camera while maintaining a perfect yet personal posture. It is reported that filming is currently underway in Jeju Island.

Many of us have been eagerly awaiting the debut of this drama since it was first announced last year. On February 17th, TVXQ’s Best Selection 2010 album reached a sales figure of 228,542 units as they topped the Oricon Daily Chart. After achieving the Platinum status already with their single Break Out!, the RIAJ (Recording Industry Association of Japan) has given TVXQ’s Best Selection 2010 album a Double Platinum rating!

The RIAJ states that a sales figure of at least 250,000 must be reached to achieve Platinum. Well, Best Selection 2010 album has reached over 500,000, twice the Platinum value, therefore achieving ‘Double’ Platinum.

Dong Bang Shin Ki’s Hero Jaejoong, a member of Korea’s famous group, was voted first on the ‘Which male artist do you wish to be your lover?’ in Japan, which is grabbing much attention.

The Japanese TBS music show ‘CDTV’ recently conducted their annual survey for the first half of 2010. Jaejoong was voted first for ‘Which male artist do you wish to be your lover?’ He is also the first ever foreign artist to place first on the list since the inception of this TV program 16 years ago.

Jaejoong first entered this list in 2008 and within 2 years had successfully taken over the first position. This shows that his popularity in Japan is rising rapidly. Regarding this, there are some insiders who boldly predicted that all this represents that the ‘monopoly of Johnny’s’ is possibly coming to an end.

On top of that, other Dong Bang Shin Ki members were on the list and topping Johnny’s members. Micky Yoochun successfully won over Kamenashi Kazuya of KAT-TUN and took the third position. The other DBSK members on the list include Max Changmin at sixth and Xiah Junsu at seventh.

TVXQ Jejung is confirmed to make role appearance at Fuji TV’s new drama ‘素直になれなくて (Sunao Ni Narenakute)’ (Script by: Kitagawa Eriko).

Jejung who starred in last year movie ‘Heaven’s Postman’, in which Kitagawa Eriko also wrote the script, will cooperate once again with the Japanese writer in entering Japan drama industry. How Jejung and Kitagawa Eriko reunited in this new drama, has been an interesting hot issue.

With the drama casts include Japan great actor from ‘Nodame Cantabile’ Eita (29th) and Juri Ueno (25th), and is also supported by one of Japan best writer, the drama is expected to be one of masterpiece and already drawn a lot of interest from many fans.

At the heart of the drama is the social networking and micro-blogging service Twitter, which has quickly risen in popularity worldwide and is starting to catch on in Japan. The story is set in Shibuya, one of Tokyo's centers of youth culture, where five men and women meet through Twitter. Through their interactions, they overcome their individual problems and create a true friendship.

Eita plays a photographer named Nakaji who had aimed to become like his father, who was a war photographer before he was changed by a battlefield injury. Ueno plays the part-time high school teacher Haru, who is irritated by her own inexperience.

Tetsuji Tamayama (29) takes on a leader-like role for the group, though he plays a sensitive man working in publishing while dealing with erectile dysfunction. Megumi Seki (24) plays Haru's best friend, who is having an affair with her own boss. The fifth member of the group is still being cast.

Popular screenwriter Eriko Kitagawa is handling the script. Kitagawa was responsible for "Orange Days" (which Eita and Ueno also appeared in) and other hit dramas, though "Sunao ni Narenakute" is her first for Fuji TV since "Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi" in 2002.

Jejung Japanese drama ‘素直になれなくて (Sunao Ni Narenakute)’ is coming this April and will air every Thursday at 10 pm.

Finally…the day i can say this came!!
I’m sure there are people who know this already but…Yes, a miracle happened.

I was able to meet Tohoshinki’s leader Yunho-san(>_<)!!!!
Seriously it’s a miracle!! I’m the one who is the most surprised. I did say that I wanted to see him, but it was just a dream and it was a dream I wanted it to come true...
But you don’t think that the dreams really going to come true… When I was asked to be the interviewer I seriously screamed.
The day of the interview I had to take the taxi alone but I was so nervous that I got off at a place I don’t even know. Dreams…do come true (;_;)

And whats funny is that on page 91 i was talking with Kumiko that I want to meet Yunho *laughs* It was a few days after that, I really think that this is the biggest miracle that will happen in my life *laughs*

It’s really rare that a fan can interview like this so I really wanted to talk about what people want to know, what people what to hear, and what people want to tell him... but I was so nervous that day I don’t even remember what i talked about *laughs*

I was soo nervous until the article was made, Worried if I didnt say something weird *laughs*
When I saw the article, it was what I thought it would be like.
I can tell I was nervous *laughs*
But there was one thing I wanted to tell Yunho no matter what. I wanted to tell him how much just Tohoshinki being here can make people happy.

And thats not just people in Japan, of course the Tohoshinki fans in Korea, China, Taiwan,other Asian countries, and everyone all around the world probably feels like that. In me Tohoshinki, Yunho is someone that I look up to as an entertainer and as one person... I respect him. I can’t laugh here.

Another major record has been broken by one of the most successful boy band in Asia!

On the 22nd, TVXQ has sold approximately 413,000 copies of their Best Selection 2o10 album. The album now has the most sales ever for a foreign group in the Japanese music industry. They broke the previous record that was held by American band, Bon Jovi, who had sold 379,000 copies of their album G’s Days. The record hasn’t been broken in 14 years, making this accomplishment even more significant for the Korean group.

TVXQ exchanged their side of their encounter with the “living legends” as well.

During a recent program recording at a Japanese broadcasting station, TVXQ recounted their meeting with the Backstreet Boys at an episode of Japanese Fuju TV’s Music Fair 21 last year. “[When they met us,] the Backstreet Boys asked, ‘How long have you guys been performing?’ and we answered, ‘Around six years,’” Yoochun revealed.

Although TVXQ is seemingly the reigning group of Asian pop music, they aren’t the only boy band that has seen success on epic proportions.

As a group that has sold over 130 million records worldwide, the Backstreet Boys are undoubtedly one of the most well-known and biggest-selling groups of all time. Even though they debuted waaay back in 1993, this group is still going strong and made a comeback in 2007. In fact, they even released a new album titled This is Us last October, and a second Backstreet Boys greatest hits album just a month ago. Although celebs like Lady Gaga and Soulja Boy define American pop music in many people’s eyes these days, the Backstreet Boys are undoubtedly regarded as one of the most successful and arguably legendary pop acts of the past few decades. But anyway.

On February 24, the Backstreet Boys will perform in Seoul at Melon-AX Hall for part of their worldwide This is Us tour for album promotions. The Boys previously performed in Seoul in 2006 & 2008, making this their third concert in Korea.

Star News had the opportunity to conduct an email interview with the group on February 17, and revealed that they knew of TVXQ.

“We met a Korean group called TVXQ in Japan a while ago,” the Backstreet Boys said. “Although their outward appearance [because] they were wearing different clothes and were a different race, it was like we were looking into a mirror. … I remember how TVXQ reminded us of who we used to be.”

“The good thing about our [upcoming] show is that we can directly interact with our fans and see them face to face,” the group continued. The Boys also revealed that the stage would be decorated with many creative ideas and graced with a number of dance performances. They also stated that their favorite Korean food was bulgogi (Korean BBQ).

“Our fans … make us sound like Superman, but we’re just plain ordinary people,” they continued, showing humility despite their success – a quality definitely shared by TVXQ.

If they really are mirror images, I’m sure many Cassies hope that TVXQ will stay together eternally, just like the Boys.

It’s been reported that Yunho of TVXQ will be part of the Korea leg of the posthumous concert This Is It dedicated to legendary icon Michael Jackson. Of course, for this concert, Yunho can’t stay in Korea / Japan for TVXQ promotions and will be heading to the United States!

Set to leave for Los Angeles in March, he will improve on his singing and dancing while working with the “This Is It” team. Yunho will work closely with Bashiri Johnson, Maurice Pledger and Judith Hill for his training.

A representative of the concert said,

“For the concert, every member who was set to perform the 2010 This Is It World Tour that was set to launch on July 7th in London will be performing here. There are plans for the Korean singer Yunho to be part of the concert and present a Michael Jackson performance.”

After Yunho’s American training, he will return to Korea and perform on March 27th and 28th at the Korean War Memorial in Yongsan, Seoul.

The representative also said,

Back in September of 1997, shortly after the tragic death of Princess Diana, Sir Elton John released a single in memory of her titled Candle in the Wind. This single had an initial sales figure of 184,000 units and because of this he held the record for a foreign artist with the most initial single sales. He held this record for over 12 years, but all records are meant to be broken and the boys of TVXQ have taken the record for themselves. The initial sales for Break Out! was a whopping 254,000 units, breaking the old record by 70,000.

TVXQ also broke their own record of having the most #1 singles for a foreign artist as this marks their 7th single to hit number one.

TV host and comedian Ellen DeGeneres asking people for international music suggestions via her website. Since then, the majority of viewer votes has gone to none other than TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki!

Since January 21st, fans have been voicing their support as the website logged over 20,000 suggestions for TVXQ alone. That’s quite an impressive gesture of fandom and Korean media points the success to a collaborative effort of Korean netizens and other international fans.

So the question is: Will TVXQ be setting foot on American soil? That’s still unknown but appearing on a talk show with nearly 10 million in viewership could definitely open up new possibilities for the k-pop industry.

SM Entertainment has also heard about the victory and stated, “We have heard about the matter but we have yet to receive an official invitation.” They added, “Currently, TVXQ is split between Yunho-Changmin, and Junsu-Jaejoong-Micky Yoochun. It won’t be easy for all 5 members to participate.”

So what’s this mean for fans? Well, it’s not exactly a no on SM’s part but it’s not exactly a yes either. We also have to remember that Ellen has yet to send out a formal invitation, but near the beginning of this event, she did mention that they may send one out. Ever since the post went up, TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki’s fanbase, strong>Cassiopeia, has bombarded the site with recommendations for TVXQ!

Cassies left comments on her site stating things such as, “TVXQ! Reason why you’ll love them? Simple. Because they’re all-in-one package” (Nabila Ghaisani). Hopefuls even commented, “Cassiopeians would rush to their televisions if they heard that DBSK would be appearing on your show!” (Username Milk). And although other idol bands such as SS501, Big Bang and 2PM were also suggested, the power of the Cassies seemed to overwhelm the Triple S, VIPs, and the Hottests combined!

Additionally, Ellen’s short blog simply states, “Ellen is discovering some amazing international music. Now she’s looking for more — and wants your help! MBC News ran a segment where they revealed the names of some of the donors. During the segment, Jung Yunho’s name popped on the screen with a donation of 5,000,000 won (around $4500 US).

What's great about him is that he doesn't ride on his charitable deeds to gain more popularity. He does things under the wraps and knowing that he really does have a big heart is what sets him aside from other artistes.

TVXQ’s Xiah Junsu has contracted a virus infection and hasn’t been in good shape lately. On the 18th, Junsu received treatment at the hospital for this virus.

Junsu’s representative stated:

“Starting from the 17th, Xiah Junsu was feeling pain and dizziness. He visited the hospital for a check up and they determined he had contracted a virus infection which has made him lethargic.”

Junsu received shots and IV treatments at the hospital and is now taking a rest at home. Although they are saying it is not a serious infection, it has been revealed that Xiah Junsu was receiving treatment at the hospital for about one week.

TVXQ’s leader U-Know Yunho is quite a generous fellow. A few days after he visited his grandmother, it was revealed that the TVXQ leader has been donating to his old school for six years straight. TVXQ debuted at the end of 2003, which that means that he has been donating since he was a rookie.

U-Know Yunho gave back to his old school, Gwangju Gwang-Il High School. He’s been giving scholarship money for the underfunded students in the school. He even visited a neighborhood public facility and entertained people.

The high school said, “Yunho always comes back when he has vacation time. He visits and supports the elderly people’s apartment building, the church and other public service facilities.”

The best thing about all of this is that he has been keeping this on the down low. It doesn’t look like a big publicity stunt he pulls off to look good or something he shows off to others. It’s only been leaked now that he’s been donating for so long. It took people six years to find out!

This proves to us that Yunho truly is an angel at heart. He has also donated for Western Africa’s development grants, and has donated a total of around $22,000. A guy like this doesn’t deserve the stress he is under and the drama he is going through with the controversy with SM Entertainment and his members.

Yunho made the visit after returning from his activities in Japan to greet his grandmother for the new year. Five Balloons, a group of Japanese TVXQ supporters, recently created the TVXQ Smile Project, in which members donated money to put an advertisement in a daily Korean newspaper. Its monetary goal for Christmas? A whopping five million yen, which is approximately 64,400,000 won, $54,700 USD, or the price of a pretty nice sports car.

The ad is expected to include the words 'TVXQ Smile Project,' a message about TVXQ's entity as a group only complete with five members, and a promise to forever love TVXQ and wait for them to sincerely smile.

As of yesterday, over four hundred participants collectively donated 1,764,000 yen (approx 22,700,000 won or $19,400 USD). Since this doesn't meet the initial December 25 goal, the members plan to extend the period of donation collections and purchase the ad in mid-January.

DBSK - MUSIC STATION SUPER LIVE

On December 8th, TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki's official Japanese fan club, Big East, posted a message stating that the boys will perform at the famed Music Station Super Live event on Christmas (12/25/2009).

Music Station Super Live is one of Japan's most prestigious shows, an year end celebration on Christmas. Only the top 20-30 artists in Japan are invited to the show and TVXQ will make their first ever appearance on the show. This isn't too surprising considering that TVXQ has had many chart-topping hits this past year, performed at the Tokyo Dome, and is now near the upper echelon of J-pop artists.

Koyote's rapper BaekGa (Baek Sung Hyun) has been diagnosed with a brain tumor after receiving a standard MRI scan. He was involved in a small car accident and was feeling dizzy, so the doctors recommended an MRI Scan and found the tumor.

On the 9th, BaekGa revealed this unfortunate news via his mini-homepage and thanked those who were supporting him. However, he also revealed some of the personal things he went through when he and his family found out as he wrote, "Maybe it's because I hated to see the men I love crying around me, but I cursed and yet you all still ignored me and continued to cry. I then went into a bathroom stall and locked myself and as I covered my mouth with my scarf, tears began to pour out like crazy," he continued, "After crying for a while I came out and as I looked in the mirror a laugh came out. My heart hurt so much but I felt so good. My older and younger brother had dashed over here and spent the whole night up and that made me laugh with gratitude."

He then sent a personal thanks to his brothers as he said, "I feel grateful that I have someone by my side, which is why I've decided to stay strong. Even without saying it I'm sure you know that I'm very thankful. I truly thank you."

DBSK - LOVED BY TOKUNAGA HIDEAKI

With a fanclub of over 800,000 members, it'd be an understatement to say that TVXQ is widely loved by both typical individuals and celebrities alike; recently, Tokunaga Hideaki, a Japanese performer who participated in FNS Music Festival with the boys, praised the fivesome for their hard work and performances.

When TVXQ asked the famous singer to perform his track Rainy Blue with them, the group revealed their love for the song. "[The members] worked hard to use Japanese to communicate with me," the singer expressed. "[They are all] really handsome, especially Jaejoong; with that beauty looking at me ... my heart speed up [to the point] that I wanted to hug him. If I were a girl, there is no doubt that I would fall for him.”

The compliments for the group didn't end there. “They don’t have just beautiful features , their heart and actions are as pure as snow,” Tokunaga expressed. “Even though I have meet other handsome guys up until today, but Tohoshinki really are wonderful guys.”

XIAH JUNSU - 'XIAH JUNSU VILLAGE'

Adra Korea, an international development and relief agency, has recently been working on a disaster relief project in Cambodia in a small village just an hour off of Phnom Penh. This village also happens to be the poorest in all of Cambodia. With more than thirty houses lined along the dirty waters of the nearby river, Adra Korea is working hard to improve the living conditions for the children who reside there. However, Adra Korea is not alone in this restoration project. Who might be helping them bring hope to the children of this small town, you ask? If you guessed the Cassiopeians, you’re correct!

TVXQ’s generous fan club, otherwise known as Cassiopeia, has been involved in numerous charity projects previously and this is just another one they that they can be proud to be a part of. In celebrating Xiah Junsu’s upcoming birthday on December 15 (they registered on January 1 though), the Cassies donated a large amount of money under his name to support the cause. And although Xiah Junsu and TVXQ are unknown to the people residing there, because of the gracious donation, the village has been named ‘Xiah Junsu Village.’

JAEJOONG - IRIS OFFER (RUMOUR)

Did TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki's Jaejoong decline an offer to join the roster of the hit drama IRIS? Apparently so, according to some rumored reports.

Jaejoong recently showed off his acting prowess in the telecinema project Heaven's Postman and the people in charge of IRIS thought it would be a good idea to bring the top prince in Japan on board. The IRIS producers originally planned Jaejoong to appear in the final episode of season 1 (episode 20) and then have him as a full time member for Season 2.

However, for undisclosed reasons Jaejoong declined on the offer. I'm guessing it's because he's going to be very busy with his Japanese promotions with his TVXQ mates. Unfortunately, joining Jaejoong in declining a chance to appear on season 2 is the main star of IRIS Lee Byung Hun as a second season of IRIS would conflict with his G.I. Joe 2 filming schedule.
